About the Artist
Hello! My name is Tori McKenna, and am a young, energetic and eclectic human being. I have a double degree in Biology & Classical Civilization from Beloit College (2006) and a certificate of 3D animation from the Center for Digital Imaging & Arts at Boston University (January 2010). Since graduating college and deciding that my chosen career path of veterinary science just wasn't for me, I have actively been pursuing a career in animation (preferably in film/vfx) through continuing education and personal development.
I have always been a chronic artist (i.e., I'm drawing pretty much all the time: on the train, at the zoo, getting coffee, etc.) and have over 7 years experience working in freelance illustration/storyboarding/design. I am currently available for new projects/opportunities, so if you are in need of any of these artistic services, please feel free to email me.
When I'm not sketching/working, I enjoy long distance running (marathons), training my over-intelligent border collie, playing music, video games, concerts, cooking, reading, bird watching, hanging with friends, hiking, skiing, telling people very interesting facts about biology/birds/history, and being (as my ever-patient boyfriend puts it) "totally absurd".
